Slow & Notice
It's a new year and, with that, comes my words of the year.
A little backstory: Over the holiday when we were spending time at my parents' house I caught my Dad quietly stepping away from the fun + chaos to sit in the backyard and watch the clouds roll in.
It was such a beautiful moment that reminded me how important it is to slow down and notice the things that are important to you.
I immediately knew that my words for the year were going to be:

I want to slow down and take in the details of my family that I know that I'll miss someday. I want to notice the sun, the breeze and all of the things that make me happy.
