New Models
As a new model, the first thing you'll need to kickstart your career as a model are headshots. If you are planning on applying to an agency you will also need digitals. These are the equivalent of a polaroid so they are very basic shots of you and your body so that the agency can truly see you as a "blank canvas".
They are also shots that you will include with your measurements, sizing and hair and eye color. When you apply to an agency you'll want a comp card to send them and this is something that I can create for you! You'll also want to have a variety of images of yourself for your portfolio because most agencies will want to see digitals AND a robust portfolio to see the dynamics of your looks.
Established Models
As an established model, you still will need updated digitals if you cut your hair, color your hair, gain weight, lose weight or anything changes in your aesthetic!
In a highly competitive industry, staying relevant is paramount. Even established models need to continuously showcase their versatility, range, and evolving style to remain competitive. A well-curated portfolio with a diverse range of images allows models to demonstrate their adaptability and appeal to a wider range of clients and projects.
I'm always concocting shoot ideas with varying aesthetics and locations and would love to work together with any ideas you may have as well!
Disclaimer: What makes me unique as a photographer for models is that, as a mom to two girls, I feel like I see modeling through a very specific lens when it comes to photographing and advocating for models so I always want to convey that I ALWAYS have a model's best interest and safety at the forefront of my mind. I'm always happy to give advice on modeling agencies and help guide newer models on their path to a modeling career.
Booking a Shoot
Unless I'm doing a specific day of "digital mini sessions", digitals cannot be booked alone but will be included in your Portfolio building session.
